Yvonne Fontijne showed the computer animation ‘Walkerworld 0.1’
and six prints from the animation ‘Walkerworld 0.1’
and six prints from the animation ‘Walkerworld 0.1’
‘Walkerworld_0.1’ is a real-time generated computer animation.
It was projected onto the ceiling by two projectors.
The work contains 120 loops of different human walks, registered using motion capture.
The abstracted human figures march across a landscape arranging themselves into different
shapes such as lines and grids.
A computer program generates the animation continuously such that it never
repeats itself.
